I work with...Dan Strum (project manager, "blue man") and Rahul Desai (graphic designer "red man") and they will take part in this blog!
DAN
Dan Strum has a background that encompasses Marketing, I.T., and language. Aside from his business development work at SCOGO, Dan is the Director of the language school NY Smarts. It is interesting that Dan does not see a big difference between his work producing marketing materials and teaching language. “Communication is a continuum,” he explains. “Whether it entails helping foreign-born professionals develop their language, or helping companies communicate with their market, the essential principles of producing a coherent and compelling message are the same! Communication is all about knowing your audience. Working with people, helping people, learning from people and finding ways in which to leverage our abilities to achieve great things"
RAHUL
Rahul brings his multicultural sensibility to design. He starts with simple, elegant, formal design, and gradually pushes it until it becomes increasingly edgy and innovative. Once he finds design themes that work, he applies them consistently to branding, print, web and animation, assuring consistent messaging throughout entire marketing initiatives. Rahul gained his attention for detail from the intricate design of his native India, and refined his skills through the Master’s program in Advertising Design at the Savannah College of Art & Design.
Why I created this Agency?
My business, formed 25 years ago, was born mainly from the union of two things: my love for print and my natural managerial vocation. The first is simple to explain... it was an experiential. I loved the touch and feel, the texture, of paper. I loved the appearance of graphics. I loved exploring possibility and making things happen. If you want more information...Look at our Portfolio
Finally...Why did I start a blog?
I am constantly struck by ideas about many things, and I started jotting down my thoughts on a notepad (I think other bloggers begin this way, don't you?). Some of my ideas were personal, and others were related to my work. In any case, I realized that these ideas were rich, and I wanted to share them with others. I don’t try to separate my personal and my business ideas; what I present in my blog is mixed, as is my life!
I have 25 years of experience and have some wisdom and experience that can be useful to others. And I am open to learning. I am eager to see what knowledge people will share with me!
More than anything, I am here to make connections. To offer my thoughts and feelings for the benefit of others, to empathize, influence others, and be influenced. Knowledge, empathy, reciprocity. These are the things that motivate me every day.
